The following terms and conditions apply to all classes delivered by Françoise Gibbison (face-to-face and online)
Course payment
Payment must be received in advance, at least 1 week prior to attending the first lesson. A course place is confirmed on reception of the payment. Please note that we don’t accept payment by instalments. Payment should be by bank transfer.
Course Cancellation /postponement by you
You can postpone the start of your selected course provided you haven’t started that course (note: this does not apply for group classes unless the whole group decides to postpone the start of the course).
To withdraw from a course, you must do so in writing at least 10 working days before it starts in order to qualify for a full refund.
Class Cancellation/Amendment by Françoise
In exceptional cases it may be necessary for Françoise to cancel or amend the time / day of a class. If a class is cancelled or amended, you will be offered the opportunity to attend another class on another day and/or time.
Refunds
All refund requests must be made in writing to Françoise.
Refunds are only available against course fees and are subject to the criteria set out above. All refunds will be remitted by Françoise within 30 days.
Disclaimer
We will always try to give you reasonable advance notice of any future changes to tuition fee rates. However, we do reserve the right to change tuition fee rates from time to time without notice.
The following terms and conditions apply to all subscription services delivering educational content over the internet. These services include the download of PDFs files, the access or streaming to recorded content (audio and visual) and, any information provided on the website https://www.languistique.com. These terms and conditions also apply to downloadable purchased products.
We, us, our” means Françoise Gibbison and contractors
“You, your” means an individual viewing our Website or the user of subscriptions and/or product purchased on the Website.
“Website” means Françoise’s website https://www.languistique.com
“Service(s)”means our subscription services enabling Users to connect to recordings and instructions. The services include access to languistique website and streaming or downloading audio/video, and any other service provided through the Languistique subscription service and/or Website.
Acknowledgment and acceptance of General Conditions
- The Site refers to any and all access to Languistique website and resources, via static or mobile devices, in either native or mobile application format. Your access to and use of the Site is conditional on your acceptance and compliance with the terms, conditions, notices and disclaimers contained or referred to on this page (General Conditions). Your Access to the Site constitutes your agreement to be bound by the General Conditions and that agreement may be enforced by us. If you do not agree with any of these General Conditions, you must cease using the Site.
- These General Conditions apply to all users, regardless of whether a licence to access some pages of the site has been purchased by a school / educational institution on behalf of students and teachers, or directly by a student or parent. In the case of students who are minors, permission must be sought by that student’s school or parent / guardian (as applicable) before that student is provided with access to the site.
User Code of Conduct and Access Rights
- Any user, including, students or teachers, found to be in breach of these General Conditions, acting in a manner that we deem to be inappropriate or inconsistent with the spirit of these General Conditions (e.g. reselling downloaded documents), or that is unlawful or prohibited by any laws applicable to the Site, may have their access to the site revoked.
- You must not access or use the site or the content in any manner or for any purpose which is illegal or prohibited by any laws that apply to you, violates our rights in any way, or is prohibited by the General Conditions.
- Users of the site must protect their usernames and passwords from unauthorised use. If you suspect any unauthorized use of your account, please notify us immediately.
- You must not use the content for commercial purposes other than for using it for teaching or learning purposes.
- You must take your own precautions to ensure that the process, which you employ for accessing the site, does not expose you to the risk of viruses, malicious computer code or other forms of interference, which may damage your own computer system. We do not accept responsibility for any interference or damage to your own computer system or data, which arises in connection with your Access.
- The site and our content is continuously evolving. We reserve the right to delete, modify, change, evolve and improve existing content, product features and tools, at any time without notice or consent.

- Copyright in this Site (including all text, logo, icons, sound recordings, videos, and downloadable / printable files, worksheets and resources, PDFs’ images) is owned by us.
- Commercialisation of any information, products or services obtained from any part of this Site is not permitted.
- Editing and publishing of derivative works from any part of this site is not allowed.
- Other than for the purposes of teaching and learning, you may not in any form or by any means reproduce, communicate, store, distribute, print, display, perform any part of this Site.
Licences of Subscriptions
- Access to, and use of, Languistique resources is subject to our terms of use and privacy policy.
- Subscription licenses are for individual or schools with non-commercial purposes. Each license provides access to the relevant resource for a nominated licensee.
- Term of Subscription and Renewal: All subscriptions are provided on an auto-renewing basis to ensure continued access to and use of the relevant resources. The renewal will automatically take place for consecutive periods of the same length unless notice of cancellation is provided prior to the expiry of the initial term or any renewal term. We will automatically charge your nominated account using the payment method on file for each renewal term. We do not provide refunds to users who cancel part way through the initial term or any renewal term of a subscription (subject to our returns/refunds policy below). You can manage and make changes to your subscription by logging into your account.
- Pricing: Fees and charges for your subscription are detailed at the point of purchase. For each renewal term your payment details will be automatically charged the then current fees for the licence type you have selected, continuing a recurring basis until you cancel your subscription. Promotional pricing, discounts and free trials only apply for the period specified and will commence on the purchase date unless otherwise agreed. At the end of the promotional period, your fees will revert to the then current fees for the licence type you have selected.
- Delivery of products and services: Access to web-delivered services is provided immediately upon processing of payment.
- Product access and use: Users are responsible for their own costs associated with accessing the product, e.g. internet usage charges, data costs and computer / smartphone equipment costs. It is the responsibility of the user to ensure their device and internet access is sufficient to access the relevant product.
- Customer Service / Refunds Policy: All goods/services supplied will be in good working order. All faulty documents will be exchanged for a working version at no additional cost to the client or the purchase price will be refunded.
Disclaimer and Limitation of Liability
We do not guarantee or warrant the site will be uninterrupted, without delay, error-free, omission-free or free of viruses. Should you find any error or omission in the resources, website and documents bought, please notify us so that we can amend accordingly and provide you with the corrected copy, as a replacement if required.
Indemnity
You agree to indemnify us and keep us indemnified, against all loss, actions, proceedings, costs, expenses (including legal fees), claims and damages arising from any breach by you of the General Conditions, or reliance by you on any information obtained through the site or your access to the site.

- We do not accept any liability for any failure to comply with the General Conditions where the failure is due to circumstances beyond our reasonable control.

- However, if we expressly waive any rights available to us under these General Conditions on one occasion, this does not mean that those rights will automatically be waived on any other occasion.

Governing Law
The laws in force in the United Kingdom govern these General Conditions. You agree to submit to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts in the United Kingdom. However, we retain the right to bring legal proceedings in any jurisdiction where we believe that infringement of these General Conditions is taking place or originating.
